Co-Creating with God

“For I am about to do something new.

See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?

I will make a pathway through the wilderness.

I will create rivers in the dry wasteland”

(Isaiah 43:19 NLT).

God loves to create – He loves to make something out of seemingly nothing!   He creates order in the midst of chaos and breaths life into what was once dead. From seemingly nothingness He creates beauty. Take you for instance. God had this idea - and it was– you!  After considering every elaborate detail, He smiled as He pondered about “when” He would place you in this world. It would be the perfect time of course. Everything about God is perfect.

Long before your conception, He knew you. Then, from His heart of love He gave you His very breath for life. That’s the epitome of making something out of nothing! Now here you are. You have been given this insurmountable gift of life and along the way you’ve made choices (some better than others) yet now you find yourself ready for something new.

God isn’t disappointed in where you are today; in fact He revels in the opportunity of making something beautiful out of your current situation. He’s a genius at this! He’s definitely not holding your mistakes and sins against you, because each one is covered and their penalty paid in full through Jesus. For He doesn’t just “do” love… He is love.

So here you are…loved. There is a beautiful gift in front of you. If you dare to open it, your life will never be the same. It’s the gift of new life. Your immediate response, “Oh, I’ve opened that before.  I’ve received new life from Jesus. I’ve been forgiven. I’m going to heaven.” But wait, just a moment! This is the gift of the new beginnings. You’ve never lived this moment before, and how you allow yourself to dream in this present moment in time can redirect your future.

If God truly loves making something out of nothing, then maybe, just maybe He can take your failures, your poor choices and selfish behavior and give you something so wonderful and new that it will exceed your wildest and richest dreams. You are embarking on the adventures of releasing the benefits of the gift of your new day. He gives beauty for ashes. Hope for despair. Peace for confusion.  Joy in mourning.

You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing.

You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy,

That I might sing praises to you and not be silent.

O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever!  (Psalm 30:11,12).

Let’s not waste another moment wondering if God is here and aware of your circumstances, He knows them full well and yearns to fulfill purpose through you. If you want “new” bad enough, your heart will resonate with what I’m saying.   Deep down you want everything God has prepared for you. – get ready to live life to it’s fullest: effortless, enjoyable and highly effective.

Co-creating with God is saying yes to all of His goodness, faithfulness and diving design for your life. Our lives tell a story – and your story is not over.  Bob and I are praying that you will rest in His love for you, and co-create with Him in believing for His best.

Have a great weekend!

Love Audrey
